Design is always my thing since high school, where I made posters for the broadcasting station of the school. That’s when I knew I like visualizing information. 

I studied advertising design in college, to learn more about the visual languages and design strategy. Luckily, I also got an opportunity of being technology reporter intern for almost a year, which made me appreciate product design and strategy. The topics about why each company decided to release a feature or how products compete with each other interest me a lot. The passion and practice of interviewing people helped me get used to understanding users as a designer. 

Along the way, I got a masters in Marketing from NYU to learn how to help companies promote their product. It was during this time that I realized that good marketing alone could not make a product succeed, it has to have good product design. So I knew then that I wanted to be involved in the entire process of product development. My learning of Digital Marketing also made me a designer who pay attention to metrics. 

Now, I’m well into my design career and became a UX Design Intern at Google Gmail team while I’m enrolled in Masters in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute. I enjoy the design process and also love knowing people and solving problems. I firmly believe design is making the world better, and I’m looking forward to being part of that journey.
